Who are you?
I work as a Fixed Income Associate Portfolio Manager. I also have 10 years of experience trading equities and options. Doing that I committed every mistake known to man and most of them several times over.
What is the aim of the blog?
My goals:
* to enforce critical thinking regarding investment choices
* to comment on other people’s opinions and make fun of their opinions when they’re wrong
* to develop a Noble Eightfold Investment Path. It may end up being only six- or sevenfold though.
* to entertain with more or less funny videos as they relate to the investment world (or not)
* to endorse chill-out music as a possible way to achieve Nirvana
* to talk about whatever else comes to my mind
Why do you use Katie from “Horton Hears a Who” as your picture?
Katie makes people smile . I mean, just look at that fuzzball. It’ll make people happier looking at her than at my boring face. Serenity and Happiness are closely linked, so there you go.
